Lanesboro’s connection to Crufts

I general we are all mainly taken with the world-famous Crufts Dog Show each year. I have just been made aware of a Lanesboro connection to this iconic even.

When we hear that the ‘apple never falls far from the tree’ this old adage is very apt in this case. For all of us that remember the late Jimmy Ward, The Green, we recall his great love of dogs. Well, his daughter Loretta is a Champion class winner at Crufts and she also had a runner up in another class.
Well done Loretta and many more years of success at Crufts.
