Shannon Gaels
U14 League Div. 3 Round 4 Shannon Gaels
4-12 V 9-11 St.
Dominic’s
Time: 7 00 PM, Venue: Clonbonny
Another bad result for our U14 team. Going in at half time we were five points
down.
Following a frank team talk at half time the lads started the second half
with the right attitude. Within 15
minutes they were leading by 3 points but alas lost concentration and let the
opponents back into the game with a few soft goals. Our next game is at home on
Monday evening 25th at 7.00pm against Dromard. With two games left in the league we need
100% commitment from all players.
Our U16 squad had a useful challenge game on Tuesday evening last against
Southern Gaels.
Even though we didn’t perform at all in first half our lads knuckled down in
the second half to win the game with a two point margin.
Our U8’s are out in Carrickedmond on Wed 27th April at 7.00pm in Go Games
blitz.
U6 to U12 training as usual on Thursday from 7.00 to 8.00pm in Clonbonny.
Best of luck to Aaron Madden and Longford Minors who play Westmeath in Pearse
Park on Wednesday at 7pm.
If Longford
minors lose on Wednesday our Minors are away to Colmcille on Sunday 1st
May at 3.00pm in Minor League.
Well done to Senior team who added another valuable point on to the league
table.
